Re: ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS OF JUAN

here's an article from today's Marca

(I can't spak Spanish so translation is needed )

THE VALENCIAN TENNIS PLAYER REMINDS (or it can also be remembers) THAT HE PLAYED WELL IN AUSTRALIA

Ferrero wants to get back "the level from a year ago".
Juan Carlos Ferrero has ended an ill-fated season, depite winning his second Davis Cup, and wants to get back "the level from a year ago" to start off his climb back up to number 1 "as soon as possible". Ferrero only has 1 wish for the New Year: to get back to the level he had a year ago because "I started off very well in Australia and Rotterdam", I remembers/reminds.

Buena traducción Emily. Pero "...wants to get back ...
No sé si me estoy explicando bien ...

Re: ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS OF JUAN

Ferrero: "Clearly you don't go from 33 to number 1 just like that"

The Spaniard Juan Carlos Ferrero said this week that he wants to get back "the level from a year ago" to start off his rise back up to #1 "as soon as possible".

Ferrero stressed to a European news agency: "I started off well in Australia and Rotterdam and expressed his wish to "recover the level of his game and be happy on the court, which is a fundamental part of a good game. That will come gradually because if I play well, I'll win matches and I'll go up in the rankings. I have nothing to defend and I hope to go up quite quickly"

Ferrero, 33 in the ATP rankings then said, "obviously you don't go from number 33 to number 1 just like that...you have to work, which requires time and I hope to be at the top as quick as possible. But I don't lose sleep over it, if I've done it other times, I can do it now as well"

After a bleak year, the "worst of his career" as he said before the Davis Cup final, the Valencian said, "Winning something always makes the bad stuff fade away and winning the Davis Cup for the second time is very important for my tennis career"

Of the resignation of Agustin Pujol from the elections for the presidency of the Spanish Tennis Federation, the Valencian said, "he's had a fair amount of time at the Federation where he's achieved quite a few things"

Ferrero pointed out that it was possible "he's tired and doesn't want fights or to have to get worked up about whether they'll re-elect him or not. He's done well and it's not a bad thing that he's leaving"
