Re: ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS OF JUAN

he so did not want to do that interview, he told them straight out no, and then they kept bugging him. The interviewer wanted it to go longer and JC was getting annoyed with him because he was bugging him so much. I think JC told him to end it. And i don't blame him because that guy was being ridiculous.

Re: ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS OF JUAN

I posted this in Verdasco's forum yesterday.

Quote:

Verdasco to Spain's Prime Minister: "We like to be treated as equals"

Fernando Verdasco felt "surprised" by the statements of the Prime Minister during the celebratory reception to honour the Davis Cup-winning team. Zapatero focused his praises on Nadal, which "surprised us all," said Verdasco.
Well, Juan Carlos and David Ferrer have also talked about it. And about their friendship, Davis Cup, and objectives for next year.

Ferrero and Ferrer: "The Prime Minister disrespected us"

Quote:

Re: ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS OF JUAN

Good for Juanqui and David for speaking up for themselves! Rafa did great, of course, but so did David and Juan Carlos, and they deserve credit, too.

Re: ARTICLES AND INTERVIEWS OF JUAN

That's what I like about Juanqui! He is a basically shy, quiet, man who does a lot, but doesn't publicize it. He has accomplished a great deal in his 30 years of life and has done it quietly. I knew I liked Juan Carlos for a good reason. He seems so nice and he is.

Quote:
Should you find yourself outside a court where Juan Carlos Ferrero is playing, then sit down and start watching. First of all, the Spaniard is now 31 years old and his appearances and Roland Garros will not continue indefinitely. And secondly, we should not forget that at the turn of the millennium, he it was who wrote his name in the annals of the tournament alongside Gustavo Kuerten.

The latter half of his career has seen him fly under most people's radars, but the man who shares his name with his country's monarch also enjoyed a time when he reigned supreme on red clay. Back then, the question was not: "Will he win Roland Garros?" but "How many times?"
