Re: King of Umag returns!

YES!

Missed the last set but enjoyed reading all the live match comments here (thanks bunny ).

Great win over the home crowd favourite. Sounds like he played much better in the 3rd.

Re: King of Umag returns!

Btw, since JC won Umag last year, he's losing 250 points from the win next week and will need to reach the final this week to stay in top 100.
It may sound strange because it's only two weeks after he won in Stuttgart, but he has played only six tournaments in the last 12 months so he doesn't have many points.
Of course he can still use protected ranking of #26 so it's not like he'll be immediately in trouble even if he loses before the final.
Still, hopefully, he'll be able to repeat what he did in Umag last year!

Re: King of Umag returns!

Juanqui leading 6-1 *2-0

But 15-40 2BPs for Berlocq

Started watching start of the 2nd, just before the lightning started. Berlocq totally frustrated, gifting points left, right and center. This rain delay might unfortunately calm him down.

6-1 4-1*

He got broken but then broke straight back hitting some of the best FHs I've seen him hit this year. Wonderful sight.

Broke Berlocq again but played a careless game serving for the match. Lost all four points.

5-4*

Back on serve.

Very careless from Juan. Winning just two points in the last three games.

JC better wins this match or will be accused of being a fixer
