Re: Juan Carlos in Madrid 2011

I´ve read on the general messages forum that some people say that Thiemo De Bakker is not playing well in this season . Is that true ? It´s because in my opinion it´s going to be a hard match for JC and i was very surprised when i read those comments of the poor season that he was doing . What do you all think?

I haven't been following De Bakker closely but he has won only two matches this year: Rotterdam R1 vs Petzschner and a DC rubber vs Marchenko on indoor hard. He's ranked #83 this week and considering he was ranked as high as #40 last year, his form must have dropped. He didn't play Miami, and Estoril last week was his first tournament on clay this season, so maybe he was injured? But he won two matches in qualies so he may be playing better now and the fast condition in the Magic Box probably suits him.
But I think JC is the favourite today and I hope he will win without too much trouble!

I like all Spanish anyway. I love their gamestyle and attitude. Specially these three's attitude is impossible sometimes.
