Also Juju won her match easily too. But I was a bit surprised when Juancho won so comfortably. I expected him to win, but no so comfortably.

Yeah I did, van den Hoogenband could win man!! And I thought everyone was talking about Phelps vs Thorpe, but van den Hoogenband got the silver medal hah .
And did anyone watch 4x100? Man, van den Hoogenband was brilliant! Got a silver medal for the team. And of course South Africa, unbelievable, they were soooo fast!

Re: The "Juanqui fans united" chat thread

hey, i don't see why people are so sad about his lost. I mean sure, he's out of the olympics, but he played an excellent match against a good player. he's back in form, he's winning matches again, and we can expect him to win major titles again soon. Roger federer lost in the same round of the olympics, so he did just as good as rogi in the olympics. I'm just grateful that he's back in form, and expecting big things from him in the near future, hopefully he'll play a great US Open and will win heaps of tourneys.

Yes, same here too. Davis cup is also there, but USO would do some good to his rankings.

I was only upset because the Olympics is once every 4 years and JC has stated many times his dream to win a gold medal. Who knows what he will be doing in 4 years time? this might have been his only realistic chance
