You'd have to be insane to choose the other option. I mean, there are very few men I'd pick over chocolate, so JC should feel privledged.

And by the way, I think it's best we carry on our home and away discussion in here. JOHNNY COOPER IS A FREAK!!! He portrays the evil character pretty well though. He won't stick around for long though.

lool that's a cool idea, if only the weather isn't so hot... I can see those Ferreros melting when we'll be baking in the sun watching JCF!

I melt when I see Ferrero, so it's only right that Ferrero Rocher's melt while watching JCF.

This year was so much fun, me, you, Kristen and Peta watching JC practice shirtless

Basically, the article says that Juanqui and Ferru were in Valencia today to oversee the construction of the brand new stadium for the Valencia Open, which will be ready for 2009 in October. The site "El Agora de Calatrava" [Santiago Calatrava being the innovative architect who has designed and built many modern structures all over the world, but mainly in Spain, i.e., the Calatrava bridge in Valencia, a lovely slender structure in white] will be where the Ciudad de las Ciencias y las Artes is, which is N of the Turia River [where there is no water, btw], in the more modern part of the city [a really cool science centre -- if one is ever in VLN, one definitely s go there!]... anyway, the main court will be oval-shaped and w an orange court to represent the colours of Valencia.

Juanqui is the OWNER and Cascales is the director of the tourney.

Both Juanqui and Ferru are looking forward to this tourney, which will become one of the Open 500 series.

Right now, Valencian tennis is enjoying a boom, and much of it is due to Juanqui, who has opened many doors!

COOL!!!
Do either or both of you have links to these articles by any chance?

Thanks.

By the way, JC's got 'play of the week' on the ATP tennis site. It's from the match against Ancic, where he hits a winner underneath the legs. Quite a nice point.

Wow, thanx for the news JL!
Yes I remember the shot. It was really great!! Reminds me of the tweener at USO semi 2003 although that one was returned by Agassi and JC won the point with a volley winner. JC's really good at that trick shot!

Juan Carlos Ferrero’s luxurious life
By Erwin • Apr 15th, 2008 • Category: Tennis Served Fresh - Erwin Ong

Juan Carlos Ferrero’s time at the top of the tennis heap might be long over, but his stint as a wheeler and dealer of luxury is just starting. Now that his boutique hotel is up and running, he’s moved on to watches.

Juanqui’s teamed up with watch designer Franc Vila to promote a watch inspired by the former World No. 1: the FVa Nº Cuatro Tourbillon Dial-Side Column Wheel Monopusher Chronograph.

Each watch is priced at €195,000 and there are only eight of them in existence; the first will go to Juan, the last to Franc. The other six will be put on the market.

As part of the promo, Ferrero and fellow countryman Tommy Robredo did a fashion shoot at this week’s Open de Tenis Comunidad Valenciana. (Watch: Click to see the video.)

Re: Juan Carlos News Thread

I don`t know if this has been posted anywhere else already, so I just thought I write it here:
on the Stuttgart Website they`ve written that JC is already under contract to play there again this year !!

Which is FANTASTIC news for me !!!! LOL !

I "knew" if JC would come to Stuttgart once ( as he did last year ) he would come again as it`s such a nice, small tournament.
