Hopefully he'll serve him a coffee afterwards otherwise it will take him several days to regain his energy after a 45-minute run-around

No shit Rome has been fast for years, that's a given. When you have an Agassi/Haas final on clay at a TMS event, that should give enough clues really.

Keep it up as this is childs play as none of these guys are going to be factors when the real stuff comes along especially the new 4 favourites.

Roddick 9-10
Srichaphan 15-8
Carlsen 11-4
Ginepri 13-4

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

If he gets enough balls back then he'll win as the Duck can't be that disciplined for ever and also once the serve starts coming back and he loses points, lets see the composure then.

I agree, Ljubo to win. Picking against Ljubo has hurt my wallet in the past.

Yeah I agree on that point...who wouldn't? That is a given

But I, like many, are acting on the assumption that he will serve just as well as he has the last few days here. In which case, there won't be huge number of balls coming back for him to fluff.

One thing I remember of their past matches and gives me confidence is that Verdasco absolutely killed Roddick´s 2nd serve.

He can't play that well on this surface consistently that is what it comes down to.

Re: Thursday OOP + SCORES

Also, where has Verdasco threatened to break through this year? I can't remember any instance. He is playing a player that is in-form - Roddick is tough and when he is trying to make a breakthrough in these important events, that makes the task tougher still.

Plus Nando can just dominate him with his forehand if he isn't trying to hit the thing 600km/h.

Is he that tough? Very tough against Mutis I seem to recall.

That's the French Open - the surface is much slower as you well know and Andy had very limited clay match practice last year. Beating Todd Martin in round 1 was hardly a major scalp.
