Re: Main draw

Ooh dear, now that is a tough draw for Roddick! 3rd round Nadal, 4th round Ljubicic, qf Moya, sf Safin.

Re: Main draw

Going by what he did to Nadal on hardcourts last time they played, I don't think that match will be terribly exciting. Stupid draw.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Main draw

Yes, perhaps, but going by what Ljubicic did to him in their last hardcourt match, that's a very interesting match up.

Yes, I agree with you that the rest is tough. Well, aside from Moya who could lead 6-0 5-0 and still get spanked by Roddick.

Stupid draw for Nadal and Robredo

I lack direction.

Re: Main draw

I can only see one quarter, and it's got virtually all my favourite players in it. Henman vs Schalken in the second round! Mind you, neither of them won a match here last year so they can only gain points...

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Main draw

OK... Ferrero would have to play Canas in the second round, ouch! A potential Moya-Blake second round, Bjorkman-Mirnyi will feature 100% serve-volley on a slow hardcourt, and I like Gaudio's chances to get through a couple of rounds - he beat Grosjean at this very event three years ago in exactly the same round as he's seeded to meet him here. Nadal could make the match with Roddick more competitive considering the courts in Miami don't have the fast balls and lightning pace of the US Open.

Re: Main draw

Well if Ljubo beats Andy..it will be hard for his not to make the SF vs Safin and that should be interesting.
