How do you feel about a possible semi against Oscar Hernandez? The woulda, coulda, shoulda been Wimbledon finalist?
I will try to remember to keep my marach cheering in the appropriate section :hehe:
Very impressed with the quality of the smiley you used. I contemplated quoting you so it would be immortalised on mtf.
Oscar will win it next year and I love the fact he's playing a clay challenger before playing the US Open. Well for Vinci he has been showing some good form and just hope he can continue it and being the tennis fan I am. I have been to this place years ago, when it used to be an ATP tournament and I'd love if he could win, but he has to get past the QF's.

Kristen, I will be there then
So you won´t have the chance to come already next year
But anyway, I will definitely look forward to it, whenever it will be And maybe we could make a meeting with some of the girls from the Swedes forum, would be so much fun

Geez you are talking about the future and today I was kinda informed I'll have to prepare informations about players coming to PeKao Open Szczecin challenger next week. Vinci got a WC for quallies, I'm honest with you, I've never liked this guy too much or something (esp. after Bastad 2005 heh out of personal reasons  ) but now I think the interview with him would be a good idea because he almost retired and now he's coming back and who knows, maybe one day he'll be on top.
What I need is a brief info about all his health problems, maybe any links??? The earth is shaking beneath my feet, I need interesting subjects... I even started a thread in general messages but I looked through the topics, all are about Federer or Agassi so I don't suppose anyone would be interested in a challenger and I know you can help me plz...
Nathii, I have already read your thread in GM and think it sounds very interesting
Unfortunately I can´t help you that much concerning his injuries, but I could do a search if anyone else couldn´t help... But I am quite sure that George can help you with more information about Vinci
And btw, I am still wondering what these personal reasons (why you have something against Vinci) could be
heh He's correct But it was a joke, I can't dislike a player only because he defeats my favourite, however when I was few years younger I hated all players winning with Rios.

Nathii, it was a joke by me as well, maybe I should have put the smile
As I have seen the match myself, I knew directly what you meant as I have also figured out who could be your fave player
BTW i calmed down a bit, got few good ideas for questions, found info about Vinci on atp website (reflex... yeah) and i'm kinda looking forward but i can't say i'm not scared for few reasons. hopefully everything will be the way i imagine it and want it to be.

Nathaliia::That's so cool that you'll be interviewing them I wonder if you'll see Oliver Marach  lol... I wonder if you'll like him when you see him. He plays Mariusz today  I'm sure you'll do just fine, whatever you ask them. They'll no doubt be glad to have a real conversation with an educated tennis fan, unlike those questions you posted about in the GM thread (I don't think many people on GM would know what a challenger is They certainly wouldn't know of the players in them)
Birte: Nah, my money tree isn't fully grown yet, so I have to wait til then Hopefully then, my tax return / earnings will be enough to get me to the UK and get a bit of work over there Wimbledon is a MUST-SEE!!! I don't care about the stupidity of a lot of it, I want a grass tournament. THE grass tournament. Wimbledon
Alison: LOL It would be a lot of fun eh It was cool meeting up with many of the pimsters this year, but would also be great to meet others...and in Sweden *faints*
Peggy: It would depend on how far I can stretch my finances, but I would prefer Stockholm, for some reason... lol
I got a new job today Well, not really new... more like "another" job! Same stuff, waitressing, but it's closer to home and apparently there is a lot of work there. Only thing is, I need to plait my hair or put it in a bun. I NEVER do that! AND I've got it layered, so it'll look sooo dodgy lol... but it's money, and Money = trip to Europe.
The heat and humidity Monday forced members of the Swedish Davis Cup tennis team to skip the evening practice, ahead of the world group playoff tie here Friday. "Andreas (Vinciguerra) is suffering from dehydration and has consequently come down with cramps. The humidity here is much more than what we are used to," said Sweden's Davis Cup non-playing captain Mats Wilander.
"We will have to drink lots of fluids and my aim will be to keep the players in shape," said the former world No. 1. Wilander was, however, happy that the team was finally able to get some practice under its belt on grass courts - the surface on which the tie will be played - Monday morning.
Owing to rains that lashed Delhi, the team was only able to practise on hard courts so far, until they practised at the National Sports Club of India Monday morning.
The Indian team, on the other hand, had two sessions of practice.
:haha: Vinci, you studmuffin! Although I hate the skinhead look, and prefer him with hair, I don't 100% dislike this look  I dislike the pale scalp, but it makes his eyes stand out a lot more and I'm glad he didn't shave his face/ head entirely. Or... I may have to ditch him til it grew back.
Hope they put him in
