Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

Not entirely true Chris.. I read Skånebladet a few days ago and they wrote that he'll recieve a wild card to Båstad and he's willing to take it this is good news indeed. He also said that he might try and play some tournaments before Båstad to get some matches in before that tourney. It'll be a so nice to be see him back on the tour again ^^

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

If he is serious, then go play 2 or 3 Futures event, get some match practice, then get into form and play Båstad, he is good enough to play on the tour.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

I have been following Vinci's career since he was a junior and as for that FB group, well I think I will join it.

The only thing I find strange that he really hasn't improved his backhand, only reason he lost those matches was a lack of match training.

Hence, he should go back and get the matches in the system, then show them the style in Båstad.

Jackson, your'e right. He's planning on playing a few challangers in the upcoming months according to Eurosport link: http://www.eurosport.se/tennis/nu-bo...43/story.shtml

It basiclly says that he'll use his protected ranking to play some challangers and that DC gave him a boost to continue his career. All this is great news and i'll be happy to see him back on the tour in the future.

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

DC was a great boost for him, doing so well after so little play. This should give him a boost to play, thanks for the news Jonte.

This is a very good article about Vinci on the Swedish tennis federation homepage;

http://www.tennis.se/t2.aspx?p=119577&x=1&a=1165492

It´s on Swedish but i think this google translation works so u can read it on English as well;
