Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

It was a great week for Vinci, though leading a set and a break I would hope that he was able to hold. The facts are he is on court again and hopefully he can build on this performance.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

He is playing in the Barletta challenger on the clay and got through as a special exemption and plays that piece of crap Portas.

(5)Albert Portas (ESP) vs (SE)Andreas Vinciguerra (SWE)
Jean-Rene Lisnard (MON) vs Melle van Gemerden (NED)
Daniel Gimeno Traver (ESP) vs (WC)Gianluca Naso (ITA)
(2)Potito Starace (ITA) vs (q)

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

I was just checking updates for Barletta on the ATP site and Wed.'s OP shows that Vinci will finish his match tomorrow and he is down 4-6 2 ALL. I hope he can come back but last week was a hell of a lot of work for him. *crossing fingers*

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

So that means rain, or something? I was a bit confused because it says Portas b. Vinci. If only I knew the Italian version of 'Portas LEADS Vinci'. Don't lose, Andreas

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

The match is unfinished at the moment and so this rain delay can help Vinci focus and then take the match, though he will have to play again in the same day, if he wins.

I checked the result and he lost 4-6 6-7(9 or 7?, can't remember) so it sounds like he came back strong before he lost.

Re: Andreas Vinciguerra

Here is something that I found in passing.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
