The "Kapranos" Arse Clown TMS News Thread

Yes, there seems to be more than enough of them at the moment and we all know this event will be a test for the big one and as for the major contest, the voting will decided by public MTF poll and we stick with that for the event.

The questions are whether it should be an elite 32 or 64 draw and what format will be used. I will start a poll with the draw number and type of format next to it and there will be 3 days for people to vote.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Questions Arse Clown Warm Up Event

64 draw, shoudl be like the TMS before the 256 GS!!!

2 votes count as 1 so the australians dont cry that they wake up when most votes are over ,lol

Re: Questions Arse Clown Warm Up Event

The 24 hour option while it might take longer, then most areas will be cated for in some point.

It's up to the public to decide.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Arse Clown TMS warm up event. Vote on the format that it should take?

I prefer the 24h version, but I have a question

will votes be counted as games and sets or will it be who gets more votes over the 24 hours

Re: Arse Clown TMS warm up event. Vote on the format that it should take?

The 24hr option I imagine would be just the numbers itself, cause we could have scores like 6-0 1-6 7-6 4-6 6-4 6-3 3-6 7-5 6-4 3-6 1-6.

As much as having a 24hr voting period would be convenient, it just seems more appropriate to have games and sets, and would make for better commentary on the event (like the Arse Clown tournament blog last time).

Good idea to have a TMS though. The inactivity of someone like Just Cause just shows how much talent can be forgotten if it isn't rewarded early on.

JC is definitely here.

This is the thread for everyone to have their say and the format needs to be done correctly.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Are ther any protected rankings for this?

Just curious how the top seeds would be decided for such a small field?

Re: Arse Clown TMS warm up event. Vote on the format that it should take?

The top 16 from 2006 will be in the event, provided they are on the board still, but people like mtw, sawan and a few others will be in.

Crybaby.

It should be a 32-player draw, I wanna compete with the elite only.

Re: Arse Clown TMS warm up event. Vote on the format that it should take?

For everyone voting for the 24 hour voting period, we would lose the 6-2 2-6 etc. scoring format and it would just be str8 up 45-12 etc. where is the fun in that??????

I think after thsi voting period ends the top two choices should be put in another vote to come out with the final decision, just because their are so many options right now that this should just narrow them down...

64 players with 2 votes = 1 game. Best of 3 with a best of 5 final
