N Korea agrees disarmament steps

"N Korea agrees to close its main nuclear reactor in exchange for fuel aid"

so i guess the way to get more aid is to build a nuclear bomb, hmm... every poor country should employ this strategy...

nice to know the same strategy would be used with Iran, lucky for the world Israel will take out any reactors or other nuclear facilites when Iran gets close to completing the bomb, like they did with Iraq in the 80's.

What a relief. That little Asian version of Don King is always as good as his word.

Re: N Korea agrees disarmament steps

This is potentially HUGE.

As I posted on another board:
The watershed six-party accord concluded Tuesday with North Korea holds huge long-term promise for the Korean Peninsula and beyond, but pitfalls lie ahead. It could put an end to the Korean War with a peace treaty half a century after hostilities ended, establish diplomatic relations between the United States and North Korea and lay the groundwork for a new security arrangement for Northeast Asia. -McClatchy Washington Bureau
Then again, it could all go down the sewer.
