Condoleances to the affected families. These are sad times we are facing...

The EU administration should be immediately sacked for the terrible way they handled the entire immigrant fiasco.

Another attack. This time in Cambrils, in the coast of Cataluña. People injured and 5 terrorists killed by the police.

Re: Barcelona attack - van driven into crowd

I watched some of the Spanish news coverage today. A couple of wild, baseless stories were flying around: that the terrorists were hiding out in one of the stores on Las Ramblas and that gunfire broke out in a nearby department store. What we know to be true is that the van used was rented, and that a passport of a Spaniard (born in Melilla) of Moroccan descent was found in the van. That sounds like a red herring. Who the hell brings their passport with them just to drive? And really who the hell then leaves that passport in the van used as a murder weapon?? They kept showing a picture of the man to whom the passport belonged, but what good does that do anyone if the passport turns out to be a red herring? A man wearing a white shirt with blue stripes was seen running from the van, but with all the chaos, who knows how accurate that description is. Not to mention it's awfully easy to just change your shirt. We also know that Las Ramblas was shut down for hours, with the tourists and business owners/workers forced to stay shut inside stores/restaurants while police cleared the area and started their investigations.

13 died plus over 100 were injured. At least 3 of the injured are in critical condition. Plenty of the dead/injured are likely to be from other countries (the first confirmed dead was Belgian) because walking Las Ramblas is much more of a tourist activity. It's not really something that native Barcelonans do.

Two men have been arrested. One a Spanish national (I assume the the guy in the passport), the other a Moroccan living in Spain illegally. Police are still trying to determine if the Barcelona attack is related to the attacks in Cambrils and Alcanar. It doesn't sound like that's the case because the MOs are very different. The Barcelona attack was just a guy using a van to mow people down. The Cambrils suspects had guns and were wearing bomb belts. And in Alcanar, it was a gas explosion.

Everyone must be very shaken by this tragedy, tennis players included. A lot of players train in and around Barcelona: most of the Spanish players but also plenty from all over the world have their training base in Barcelona.

There was/is no EU wide strategy. And countries such as Hungary who took a stand and refused entry got slagged off.

Now an attack in Finland. What did Finnish people ever do to warrant an attack? People migrate to Europe, live off the taxpayers, then murder them. If someone came into ones own home and was a threat, what would happen?

Merkel is a fraud, good thing the German people are starting to see the truth. A pity it is way too late for some.

Opening the borders with absolutely no plan of how to surveil these immigrants(most are immigrants, not refugees) was one of the most retarded ideas the EU administration has had so far. I wonder how these people can even sleep at night.

Multiculturalism is cancer, and we(?) decided to embrace it like a 3-pack-a-day-smoker would do.
