Here's the link to the article: http://articles.news.aol.com/news/_...y/20061126130309990009?ncid=NWS00010000000001

According to this article, a poll states that "Forty-three percent of people in households of $90,000 or more said they were "very happy" compared to 42 percent of people in $50,000 to $89,999 households."

This is the type of crap the U.S needs, convincing more and more people that money is what matters.

Agreed money is very important and provides comfort, but there is enough consumer-ism in the states already.

Even if you have to lie, it would be better to convince people that money dosen't buy happiness, maybe this way, somehow people can find happiness outside buying the newest "Ipod" or shirt brand....

This article also states that it could be that happy people somehow, make more money....

B.S IMO.

Lol. A 1% incease in not significant. Neither is 1 point on a 36 point survery, the details of which were not covered in the article or else I'm sure I'd find a way to rip it as well.

Now, the difference between those below an income of 20 000 vs those with an income above 90 000 might be significant... but duh. It's one thing to not have a lot of money, another thing entirely to live below the poverty level.
