Re: Regarding Australia

Hey BG, thanks for the bump, it's been something I've been trying to work on.

I have about a year of University left, then I would like to do my masters in Melbourne (or Sydney ), but I'm still having a struggle with my parents about go to Australia so soon, so I might end up going to London instead, and then do my Phd in Aussie.

For someone who is really interested in visiting the country thoroughly, how much time do you think is needed? 3 months?

I might go after I finish college just to visit.

Is now an appropriate time to tell you that the next time I'm out in Surry Hills and couldn't be bothered (or am too hammered, whatever ) to go home, I'm planning on crashing on your floor? Awesome. Thanks in advance, Martin

If I could be anything other what I am, I'd want it tomorrow. If I could be what my father wants me to be, then maybe I could stay for that too. If I could be what you want me to be, I'd want to stay. But I am what I am, and all I want is freedom.

How can anyone not like Melbourne? The only downside I can see is that I live there.

I like Melbourne. I think it's totally funky and I love the art scene. But I find the inferiority complex kind of off putting. I mean, why do Melbournians have to say they live in the food capital of the country (they don't), or put "Made in Melbourne" on top of shows like Deal or No Deal... It's annoying. I love it, I do, but not enough happens there for me to go there for too long. A lot of my artist friends live there though, so I'm there a lot.

And AFL sucks.

You do realize I'm used to sleeping in roundabouts? I'm not going to find the place myself after going out. Maybe I have to tattoo my adress onto my forehead

Re: Regarding Australia

Ok so I need to get from Sydney to Melbourne and back just before easter. What's the best and cheapest airline? Jetstar, VirginBlue?

Re: Regarding Australia

Nothing wrong with Melbourne. Best city in Australia, particularly with Sport. Sporting capital of Australia right here.

Adelaide is a hole and Sydney is crap.

I'm actually close to moving to Canberra to see what that city is like to live in. Lots of uni girls between 18-21 to pick up. It's the pick-up capital of Australia.

I actually want to have a challenge with Jim. See how many girls we can sleep with in a week.

Re: Regarding Australia

Canberra is the chick centre of Australia without a doubt. Perth comes second.

Brisbane is a good place to live, but most the girls up there have kids when they are teenagers so if you want a girl in the early 20's, chances are she has a kid or two.

VirginBlue.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
