How to Play
1. Choose an album and submit it to the manager of the game via PM. You must provide a link where the album can be downloaded by anyone. If you need help for this, do not hesitate to ask.
2. Vote for the album you want in each match, via PM.
Additional Rules and Information
1. Do not ever reveal or give hints about which album you have submitted and do not ever reveal your votes nor if you have voted or not. Doing so, will remove you from participation for the rest of the competition but your album will continue in play. You do not have to worry how easy it is to guess your album, though.
2. The submitted album must be in an audio format supported by most players (mp3, flac, wma, wav, aac, etc).
3. The tracks of the album must be separate in individual files and the files need to be orderered by inserting the number of the track at the beginning of the name of the file. The inclusion of numbering, album and artist metadata in the files is also welcome.
4. No compilation albums are accepted, like: Best Ofs, Greatest Hits, Various Artists, etc. Cover and mashup albums are accepted, at the discretion of the manager, if they are distinct enough from the original songs and the album is stylistically coherent as a whole.
5. During the group stage, each fixture will contain matches from one or more groups for any given round. In the first round, each fixture will only contain the matches from one group. Group A will start first, then B, C and D. The manager will allocate sufficient time for the players to get familiar with the albums. It is advised for the players to focus their listening only on the albums taking part in the current fixture, at least in the first rounds.
6. You can vote for your own album.
7. If you do not vote in at least half of the matches in a given fixture, your album will be penalised by 1 point in the group stage. The penalties will be revealed at the end of each round. During the knockout stage, your album will be penalised by 2 votes.
8. Players no longer in competition can and should continue to vote.
9. Ties in the group stage will be broken by the following conditions:
---a) highest number of wins;
---b) most points among the matches of the tied albums;
---c) biggest difference of votes among the matches of the tied albums;
---d) highest number of favourable votes among the matches of the tied albums;
---e) biggest difference of votes in total;
---f) highest number of favourable votes in total;
---g) random.org.
10. The manager does not vote during the knockout stage. However, if there is a tie, the manager decides which album wins the match.
11. There will be a ceremony at the end of the group stage and at the end of each round in the knockout stage.
Have Fun!!!
