What could this knee thing possibly be, that it generates such a fuzz?

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

I have no idea.. never seen it but there was a lot of talking about it over here on the radio.
Appearantly it was meant to be the thing that people would remember but it looks like she just forgot to do it or the dress that she was wearing didn't allow it.

I was disappointed when I heard Belgium didn't make it. It was a good song, and I thought it could make a good chance. I only saw highlights from her performance, but I must say it looked better in the preselections.
Belgium just sucks at the eurovision song contest, good song or not

I see Spain has ''Bloody Mary'' sung by Ketchup. I am definitely not going to spoil the surprise by downloading that before the big night.

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay!

The semi final disappointed me a lot because most of the songs I really liked didn't make it. Finland was a lot better than I expected - when I shut my eyes I have a phobia of masks so I turned it off to start with but when dad told me the song was good I turned it back and shut my eyes to listen

I liked Poland for months before the contest and was disappointed it didn't make it... same with Belgium and Slovenia and Estonia I liked despite the one bar of music sounding like Abba. I also liked the cuteness of Monaco although I knew it would never go through. Also was in utter dismay when Lithuania made it WTF????

Of the ones that did go through I didn't mind Ukraine and Armenia.

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay! Come On Finland

Finland acting out the true vision of Eurovision

Actually, today, my newspaper had a huge article about the occasion, including quotes from the lyrics of some previous Eurovision songs...............I liked these three so much I HAD to share them here. All true Euro afficiados will appreciate them I'm sure.

2000: "What do you have there?" by Stefan Raab (Germany)
Does he have something there
then, and if so, what is it?
Does he have something bald
there, or rather some hair?

1973: "You Are Summer-You never Tell Me No" by Nova (Sweden)
I want you and I long for your caress
Oh - your breasts are like swallows in nesting.

1968: "Stress" by Odd Borre (Norway)
Don't forget to take......take
take......take..take sleeping pills.
Small doses are good, must relax
a little
Turn on your radio, you do have ear plugs.

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay! Come On Finland

I am already watching the countdown from Spain. My toes are curling in ecstacy. I wonder if anyone is watching from further away than me.
They are doing previews, my money is on Denmark and Russia with Ireland as a dark horse.
Actually all the songs sound like rearrangements of songs I have heard before. ""We are the World'' seems to be a popular rip-off.
Anyway I think I will put the kettle on and make a ham sandwich............ahhhhhhhhh!

Buenas noches, o tardes, Costa Rica. Can we have your votes please?

Good evening Athens. Here are the votes from Costa Rica.

Lithuania: Nul points (It was obviously too early to give them independence).

Ireland: 1 point

Israel: 3 points

Denmark: 5 points

Sweden: 10 points

Greece: 12 points

That is our vote. Goodnight, Guten Abend, Bon Soir, Buenas Noches Athens.

Oh, it was inspired casting to have Will and Grace as hosts. I bet they have been fans since childhood.
