Yes, that is Dana International in Aphex's pic and Dana really is a he.

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay!

I can conclude from reading this thread that my wanderings around the globe were a complete waste of time. I should have stayed at home and counted down the days until each succeeding ESC. I think the last time I saw it was when barefoot Sandie Shaw won. ''Puppet on a String'' was written by Phil Coulter, a contemporary of mine at Queen's Univ., Belfast. Last year I saw him on Irish TV. Seems to have become a grand old man of contemporary Irish music.
I think I saw the ESC once on Spanish International channel. Now that I know it is the day after Arsenal's victory, I will just stay in front of the TV.
The Americans can keep their ''Idol'', Europe has THE song contest.

Irelands best ever song "My Lovely Horse" from Father Ted.

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay!

......like a train in the night, like a train in the night...............

What great lyrics. As good or better than any Meatloaf song.

I first met father Ted while watching pirated cable channels in Cuba. He was on vacation in their caravan (about the size of a breadbox) on Craggy Island trying to explain to Father Dougal that the tiny little cows outside the window in the far field were actually the same size as the big ones in the near field. He tried to explain ''perspective'' to Dougal, but he may as well have tried to explain String Theory. Dougal would have none of it - he believed what he saw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could almost not believe what I was seeing. Another triumph for British TV.

Omg, that song was so catchy. I can remember the chorus perfectly as well.
I gotta say that I got the best memories from last summer with my friends, listening to Helena Paparizou's song. That was a catchy one!

Good luck to the Non-Stop. They can never win, but whatever, they're cute, and don't sing that bad actually. So yeah, good luck girls.

Not sure I can wear a Cheerleader outfit in the middle of a bar in Portschach - I may get arrested...................but what I do in the privacy of my own Hotel room is quite another matter

But that would be funny to see. I'm sure the guys would not complain.

Oh well, we don't use short skirts like they do, but we do have pom-pons. The same one's that we are going to use during the World Cup.

I wouldn't complain it all, it is all part of the fun.

We need Thomas Forstner to compete again.

The Swedes need to bring back Roger Pontare.

Re: Diggi Loo Diggi Ley the Eurovision Song Contest is coming oh yay!

Roger Pontare has represented the Swedes twice, the second pic is from 2000 and his other appearance was in 1994.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
