England are not a complete team, only our first 11 is. Ashley Cole, our best left back's been out injured for most of the season. Without him our options on the left are limited. England are also relying alot on the scouser Rooney to deliver.
I'd pick Brazil, but if Argentina get out of their tough group I'd fancy their chances too.
yes, of course I mean your first 11. Anyway, there are some good subsitutes...
Bridges, from Chelsea is a good substitution for Ashley Cole.

True. England is never lucky anyway I suppose Germany will win. Their play sucks, but it always did and it never stopped them from winning

I am a Fan of Argentina and Republic of Czech!

But I think

World Cup 2006 = Solo of Brazilian National Football Team Members

Just like ATP 2006 = Solo of Federer

Re: POLL:2006 World Cup Champion?

Being English, i'm cheering for England, but with Rooney injured now, and all sorts of other bullshit that the English team deals with every time around, I figure I need another team to support.

So, instead of choosing a team like Brazil, obvious choice, I've decided that I want Portugal to do well. They aren't big favorites, and I really like Cristiano Ronaldo so I think it'd be nice for them to go far. They probably won't . . . but it would be nice.

RAFAEL NADAL

eternally rooting for:

HAAS | FEDERER | SANTORO | HEWITT | RODDICK | SAFIN

enjoying:

TURSUNOV | AGASSI | ROBREDO | MONFILS | BLAKE

Re: POLL:2006 World Cup Champion?

As I said in football zone, if England make the QFs then that is a good achievement for them.

I will wait to the squads are announced and as usual with these tournaments there will be flops and if Spain can't qualify for R2 from their group they are kidding themselves.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: POLL:2006 World Cup Champion?

Brazil are definitely favourites but after them there is not once clear second favourite..
I'd like Argentina to win, and hopefully leo Messi will be fit in time for the World Cup cos he can be one of the surprises of the tournament.

You are allowed to mug people in the box in England and also 2 footed tackles with studs showing are allowed.

The English media are unbelieveable when it comes to football.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
