Athletics World Championships 2015-2017

Is anyone watching this ?

In a bit more than a hour, the mens 100m dash final will start with Bolt, Gatlin, Powell and Gay as the main athletes.

Re: Athletics World Championships 2015

Who would have thought in 2006 that Gatlin would still be around and be favourite in 2015?

Bolt

Great to see him owning Gatling again.

Re: Athletics World Championships 2015

So Bolt the first to win five championship gold meals on the 100 meters, despite not being close to his best ever form. Should take his 6th gold on 200 later where a potential bad start is less likely to ruin the event. Very impressive.

Bolt may not be clean too (even though we don't know as he's never been involved in a doping scandal), but his ability to always save his best races in the biggest finals is impressive and I wouldn't say this has something to do with doping. Gatlin was by far better than him this season, but Bolt won the race that mattered.

Doping or no doping, Bolt is better and more likable than Gatlin, that's for sure.

This, sadly.

However Bolt is arguably the most electrifying sportsman of the 21st century and I am glad he won ahead of Gatlin.

I agree with acacacacademy.

Well until it's proven if ever , I won't be questioning him although there is a probability of course that he isn't clean , still better than 2 times suspended Gaitlin, or proven cases like Gay, Powell.

It's the women's 100m and Fraser-Pryce that disgust me, if they find illegal substances in you you should never be able to compete again .

Better than ever at 33? Sounds familiar.
