It's something with the ankle as I understood and really serious and it had to do with changing tracks or dunno how they call it in English (from softer to harder and vice versa I mean).
Well, it's interesting how the lure of money can cure most injuries. Slesarenko and Lebedva both big chances in their respective events pulled out in the warm ups, very interesting to say the least.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Zakari is also choking in the important races.

Today it looks like a boring day, just good luck to Kajsa.

Since when has Zakari ever been a favourite to win a major race?

Re: Athletics

The pride of a nation

Rutger Smith (NED) won the silver medal in the men's shot put. We're all very proud of him! We don't get that many medals in athletics, you know!

Also great performances by Karin Ruckstuhl (eight place in heptathlon) and Simon Vroemen (3rd fastest qualifying time in 3000m steeple chase)!

Good luck to ...
*** Michaella Krajicek* Robin Haase*Rainer Schüttler *Michail Youzhny* Fernando Gonzalez* Marcos Baghdatis*
David Ferrer* Jarkko Nieminen* Nicolas Kiefer * Mariano Zabaleta* Andy Murray***

Re: Athletics

I surely hope Kim Gevaert will be able to qualify for the women's 100m final and that eventually Chandra Sturrup will win it, ahead of Christine Arron! Good luck!

You are always going on against French sportspeople, even more than I do about Americans.

That's your right. But personally, I don't pay attention to what happens outside the race. If I was to frown each time a sport man or woman does or says sthg I don't appreciate, I would end supporting not many. How much would I miss!

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

I am not sure if it was you or another Isreali poster who was always whining about France and French sportspeople, if it wasn't you, then that's my mistake.

I actually like some American athletes, then again most people believe I am a nazi, so they wouldn't believe that there are American sportspeople that I do like.

Good that was sorted out quickly.

They don't have the best of teams and I don't think there were many hopes for them in these champs.
