Re: Gas Prices?

Be thankful it's so cheap for you, RDucky. Here in Germany it's hovering around €1.24 per litre

My German guys are like the cast of the Wizard of Oz:

Rainer = Lion
Kiwi = Scarecrow
Tommy = Tin Man
Flo = Dorothy

...but I still love 'em

In Chicago, IL it's $2.39.

I just filled my car this morning and it was well over $40.

It's $2.09 here. I'll bet we'll see another price spike tomorrow.

Re: Gas Prices?

Petrol is about 90 pence - £1.00 per litre here, which is equivalent to somewhere around 1.30 euros. Sorry I'm not too good at thinking in dollars but I just did a quick currency conversion on Google and it came out to $1.75 per litre.

Re: Gas Prices?

Yes, I'm always having a good laugh when Americans complain about gas prices of about 2 dollars per GALLON

Then again, driving all those heavy, big cubic capacity and non-economical cars that can be found on American roads which need about 20 or 25 liters per 100 kilometers could be taking its toll....

Are you referring to the Toyota Highlander/4Runner, et. al.? I could never drive one of those, since not only is not economical; it's also not a wise choice for a single woman like myself-unless, of course, I was going for "flash" points.
