That's exactly the right mentality to have about it.

Also, most of the compliments I've gotten about the beard have come from girls. That's not why I am growing a beard, but it's just an observation that has come as an added bonus.

yeah i checked van dyke on google and it closers to what my facial hair look like.

only difference the chin hair is less of v-shape and more straight arrow pointing downwards.

i have to agree with everyone about not having facial hair is weird. when i clean shave, my face remind me of baby butt. it feel unnatural and that i haven't gone through puberty yet.

Actually, a beard does not save you any time in terms of maintenance. It can even be more of a hassle than just shaving.

Re: Have you got a beard?

I've gone about 3 months without shaving, my beard is getting pretty damn long. Probably about 4 months worth of growing, I had trimmed it down to its normal length in mid-September but nothing since.

My Sister wants me to be clean shaven for her wedding. Shit times man. Look too young when clean shaven .

I always have. And I hate myself without bread. If I don't have to, I never shave.

You should purposely grow a Ho Chi Minh style beard just to spite her and the hour before the wedding, shave it off.

Same here, I love bread. Can't imagine how Djokovic survives being gluten-free.

Re: Have you got a beard?

I've been having beard for one month or so and according to most people I look better with it.
And that 95% stat is shit. A lot of girls I know prefer men with beard (better a well cared than a lazy one) cause they think they look more masculine and attractive. My boyfriend agrees.

Yeah that is nonsense. Unshaven is in these days. Maybe not mountain men beards but facial hair is attractive to many girls.
