Re: You top 10 albums of 2013?

Been a fairly crap year for music, here are my picks for what there was pretty good/great, then hon. mentions:

Soulfly - Savages
Rotting Christ - Katá ton Daímona Eaf̱toú
Soilwork - The Living Infinite
Amorphis - Circle
Kataklysm - Waiting For the End to Come
Jungle Rot - Terror Regime
Darkane - The Sinister Supremacy

Hon mention:
Exhumed - Necrocracy
Deicide - In the Minds of Evil
Newsted - Heavy Metal Music
Darkthrone - The Underground Resistance
Saxon- Sacrifice
Witherscape - The Inheritance
Nine Inch Nails - Hesitation Marks
Karnivool - Asymmetry
Clutch - Earth Rocker
Hypocrisy - End of Disclosure
Finntroll - Blodsvept
Hatebreed - The Divinity of Purpose
Atrocity - Okkult
Cathedral - The Last Spire
My Dying Bride - The Manuscript
Dark Tranquillity - Construct
Children of Bodom - Halo of Blood
Amon Amarth - Deceiver of the Gods
Mercenary - Through Our Darkest Days
Autopsy - The Headless Ritual
Gorguts - Colored Sands
Helloween - Straight Out of Hell
Death Angel - The Dream Calls for Blood
Metal Church - Generation Nothing
Tomahawk - Oddfellows
Ereb Altor - Fire Meets Ice
Sodom- Epitome of Torture
Evile - Skull
Revocation - Revocation
Annihilator - Feast
Vista Chino - Peace
Ihsahn - Das Seelenbrechen
Satyricon - Satyricon
Poisonblack - Lyijy
Fates Warning - Darkness in a Different Light
Pestilence - Obsideo
Motorhead - Aftershock
Melvins - Tres Cabrones
Palms - Palms
Pearl Jam - Lightning Bolt

New Kanye is ok, as usual he thinks his music is the greatest ever and it doesn't match it, if he would just pull his head out of his ass his music actually might get better, at least he's trying something kinda different working with Daft Punk, but Daft Punk are way overrated and aren't that good, so it wasn't a good choice, so whatever.

New Jay-Z was crap.

Most indie "music" sucks as usual.

I got the new Black Sabbath, but it's not that good.

Re: You top 10 albums of 2013?

Not the best year for hip-hop since Soulja Boy didn't release an album...

Anyway, my top ten:

1. Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP 2
2. Crooked I - Apex Predator
3. Tech Nine - Something Else
4. Kanye West - Yeezus
5. Jay Z - Magna Carta Holy Grail
6. Ace Hood - Trials & Tribulations
7. Joe Budden - No Love Lost
8. J Cole - Born Sinner
9. ASAP Rocky - Long Live ASAP
10. Talib Kweli - Prisoner of Conscious

Pretty poor year in all seriousness. Only Eminem released something near a classic and Crooked I's debut studio album was amazing as well. Apart from that pretty average releases all year. Was disappointed with Joe Budden's work as well but I guess that is what happens when music labels dictate your releases... Hopefully next year will be better with Nas, Kendrick and Joell Ortiz picking the game back up...

Re: You top 10 albums of 2013?

Can't really name 10 great albums to be released for my taste.

A few good-great ones:

Ayreon - Theory of Everything
Kalmah - Seventh Swamphony
Children of Bodom - Halo of Blood
Stormlord - Hesperia

Fakervic played at 150% against Federer as usual.

Federer was the pioneer of first-strike all-court tennis. This is the real tennis and the beautiful game. Never forget the beauty of what was tennis. Nadull and Fakervic don't win tennis matches. They simply outlast their opponent with endless grinding and stamina. That is ugly. Beautiful tennis is gone now. Never forget the good days of real tennis.

Yeezus and Holy Grail were both very very average. As you said, Eminem is setting the standard, once again

It would be the opposite, if you ask me.

It's been a whole decade Eminem hasn't released a DECENT album. It's been trash! While Kanye had been GOATing until MBDTF (Yeezus is still good, but doesn't reach the heights of MBDTF or The College Dropout or Late Registration).

Re: Your top 10 albums of 2013?

Haim - Days Are Gone
Rudimental - Home
Claire - The Great Escape
Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
John Newman - Tribute
Arcade Fire - Reflektor
Kavinsky - Outrun
Capital Cities - In a Tidal Wave of Mistery

I didn't make that big hunt yet think I might find a few more worth mentioning.

Re: Your top 10 albums of 2013?

In no particular order

Arcade Fire- Reflektor
The National- Trouble Will Find Me
Laura Marling- Once I Was an Eagle
Kanye West- Yeezus
Queens of The Stone Age- ...Like Clockwork
Janelle Monae- The Electric Lady
Vampire Weekend- Modern Vampires of the City
David Bowie- The Next Day
Arctic Monkeys- AM
John Grant- Pale Green Ghosts

I have enjoyed a lot of music this year though. Have to say, people of MTF have good taste

TSONGA

DJOKOVIC

FEDERER
DEL PO-DIMITROV-MURRAY-WAWRINKA-GASQUET-JANOWICZ-BERDYCH

OBJECTIVE AND UNBIASED NADAL FAN
NADAL= Excuses, bending the rules, fluke 2010, weak clay field, classless celebrations, lucky draws, first player to lose 3 consecutive GS finals to the same man, 3 consecutive losses to players ranked outside 100 at Wimbledon including injured Darcis, only beats injured or UE strewn Djoko or Fed, embarrassed by Stronga. VAMOS!
