Your longest time without sleep?

The EU probably requires this here:

For me it's somewhere around 24 hours, can't really stay awake much longer.

But when I've been most tired was in last December. I had one boring and difficult thing to do and the deadline was closing. I was really struggling to find the motivation for doing it and was watching AO WC POs (You know which time of the day that's here in Finland) while doing it. I had only four hours of sleep in those 60 hours, about two hours a night.

Re: Your longest time without sleep?

25 hours is probably the most I've gone "without" (everyone has "micro-periods of sleep" when they're tired, but we're not counting those) sleep. Our Uni's opening "party" for new students starts at 6am and ends at 6am the next morning. Naturally I woke up about one hour before to get ready.

In the army we had a training camp for 10 days and 9 nights, I slept about 20 hours during that camp.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Re: Your longest time without sleep?

I'll usually pull an all nighter after waking up late in a day, and attempt to use that all nighter to get a sleeping pattern back. Say for example I wake up at 1pm, I will go right until 11pm the next night in hope of getting more sleep, so around 34hours.

Re: Your longest time without sleep?

Like 28 hours and it was by the Wawrinka-Djokovic match. The day before I woke up at 06:00 AM and the match was at 03:00 AM of the next day and I decided to stay up all this time the match like 08:30 AM of the next day and the worse is that I can't sleep until 10:00 AM . Then I slept like 3 hours and like 14 hours after I can sleep.

And usually since Friday Morning until Monday I only sleep like 6 hours

Re: Your longest time without sleep?

A solid 48 hours at work with a departmental presentation to cap it off. The second I was done, I shut down. I used to do these marathon sessions regularly but I stopped after while driving home, my brain couldn't register a red light and people crossing the street: I could see the light and the people but all I could think of was what are they doing walking across in front of my car? Thank goodness the intersection was far enough away that my brain finally worked it out but it was scary. After that if ever I had a late night session at work, I took a nap before getting behind the wheel - my work had a nap room with a proper bed, pillow, and a supply of clean sheets.

Re: Your longest time without sleep?

30+ hours, just didn't have time to sleep then study, so I pulled an allnighter for exam at 7 am. Did really well on it and decided to pre-game my cooking job at Uni. It was my bud's and I's last day.

I was a student leader cooking Asian food and thought that pulling an all-nighter, plus drinking three beers, plus taking a large rip from a bong was a good idea.
Somehow I literally did everything that night and my biggest mistake was spilling a lot of liquid egg on myself .

Lesson learned don't stay up more than you need to.

If you have an issue with a report/infraction, a user, a moderator or just want to talk, PM me.

I support Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, David Ferrer, Del Potro.

Why? Because I love tennis plain and simple

Haha that's almost exactly like me half a year ago. I think it was 2 hours sleep in 60 hours total. You don't feel great after shit like that man.

But I always sleep too little because I'm not motivated to go to bed, sleep almost feels like a waste of my time... even though I actually know how important it is. As a matter of fact I should be sleeping now. Eh. See ya.
