Women Would Rather Give Up Sex Than Their Smartphone

Maybe it's due to incompetent sex partners

That or maybe the video game and smartphones industry have greatly improved and made more and more sophisticated products. Problem is I think it affects all kinds of human relationships, not just sex.

If that's an inherited characteristic, then there won't be ppl like that in 100 years, these people obviously aren't interested in getting children.

Well, sex is even irrelevant because we don't need much sex to have children, but have time to raise them and to take care of a relationship.

UN projects world population will hit 9.6 billion by 2050 projecting the highest growth in Africa and and to a lesser extent India. Just the minority who now constitute the first world will be negligible respect to total population

Yes, they are. Technology made me less sociable, which isn't really helpful considering I have an illness which affects my social skills. Sucks really, but at least I admit I got a problem and I am working to change things one step at a time.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Re: Are video games and smartphones a menace to human especies?

Interestingly the age ranges of the participants are missing When you think about how connected people are to their friends, families and social networking through phones AND video games this is hardly a surprising finding. And to be honest I was in a relationship where I would rather have watched Eastenders (puke) because he came in less than 10 seconds (why bother?).

Anyway, people spend hours a day communicating online with their phones or games and about 20 minutes fucking (if their lucky), so this result is expected.

Every tool used properly will achieve a desirable result. Sadly, most don't know how to use tools properly.

I for one insist on living "in the moment", and leave my cell at home most of the time. I listen to my messages when I return, and start making calls. No one ever died using this approach.

Would never choose to play a video game over having an espresso with an interesting person, face to face.

Re: Are video games and smartphones a menace to human especies?

They are not.

They are in the range of "hurdles within relationships", but just as much and often much more are alcohol, gambling, sexual addictions, adultery, etc.

I can imagine many other new things have been satanized like the train, automobiles, the telegraph, the phone, etc., but they're just part of our society, they come creating some "hurdles", which we learn to fight and take over, so it's not a big deal at all.

And i don't buy such dumb surveys really. First of all they just answer a question, which is an impossible situation and they have no idea how they would react if it happened ever, so they just pick the first thing that comes to their mind, which depends on their actual romantic status (actual like - this day, this minute - angry with the BF, waiting for an important job call and not dating anyone, etc.) and their mood at the very moment.

These are really BS surveys, with BS results and BS analyses at the end.

If the question was 'Girlfriend or videogames?', I'd take the girlfriend without hesitation. But I'd say 'Sex or videogames?' is close to a tossup so long as I'd still have access to porn.

If only I could snap them out of people's hands and smash them on the ground without getting in trouble
