FIVB World League 2013

Any volleyball fans here?

WL 2013 started a week ago.

We won two times away in France
Brazil won Poland two times
USA and Argentina took 1 win on each

In other group

Italy beat two times Germany
Serbia beat two times Cuba in Havana
Russia beat two time Iran

I don't follow the other group with unseeded teams

Re: FIVB World League 2013

What's so surprising about Serbia beating Cuba 2 times? After all, we are the reigning European champions I know, Cuba is strong, just had to brag a little

By the way why don't nations from Africa participate? And why doesn't Australia participate? They should have entered before France and Iran (looking a the world rankings). Egypt and Japan will be given WCs...

Also, the system where the winner of pool C gets to the finals is stupid. They will be cat food for everyone there...

With this group C they gave a chances to small teams to get to finals, about african teams Egypt was eliminated in qualification from Iran, I don't remember other teams from Africa play in World League, also same for Australia.

Why would anyone want a 'small team' instead of USA, Poland, Cuba, Serbia, Bulgaria... (at least 2 of these won't go - I'm counting on Brazil to make it).. I hope it's Netherlands, they used to be strong, but suck ass in last years.

As for Egypt, they were given a WC, but decided not to play, so Portugal (!?) got their place. But Tunisia and Australia were overlooked, so I concluded teams from Oceania and Africa aren't playing (only if they are given a WC), but it's a world league, they are parts of the world, it's nonsense to me.

We won two matches against Argentina, I was on both an it was amazing, next is USA away.
Two years ago we played in Chicago in front of 5000 BG supporters and 700 Americans, I thing we will be playing like home again
