Re: Mobile phone thread

My wife has the Galaxy S3. IMO "iPhone killer" fits the name well. Good size (might be a tad big for some people), has adequate speed, very good display, however, the battery life is a bit poor. My wife was going to get the iPhone 5, but she ended up like the feel of the S3 sideways better, plus the larger screen.

I opted for the Droid RAZR HD. I was going to get the MAXX version which gives a ridiculous amount of extra battery, however, the regular HD model has enough power to keep alive without charging from 6 AM to 11 PM even if I used a lot of apps during the day. The on-screen buttons are kind of lame since it takes up some screen space, but I prefer it to the on-phone buttons of the S3. I always manage to hit the return button on the S3.

Re: Mobile phone thread

I would not change my S2 for anything but a S4 currently just because of the sdcard and removable battery option. Can't stand Apple and hate how boring their phones are. Waiting to see what Google deliver with this new Motorola X Phone.

PS The power of the Galaxy phones is if you root and put a custom rom like Cyanogen (have this on my SGS2). Battery life skyrockets, no crapware and full control of your device.

EDIT: Saw you got the iphone5. Oh well, we learn from our mistakes .

Nice to see I have a stalker online

But in any case I was just trolling for reaction there To be honest both droids and apple have advantages in different ways, but the selling factor for me was the screen size, as I previously mentioned, I hate the note book sized phones. I think the smallest high end phone was Lumia 920, which my co worker has and I have held it in my hand, unable to reach the top of the screen with my thumb. As for S4 and HTC Definitely need two hands to use. As far as jailbreaking, I don't really need it, since within hours of purchase I have downloaded apps that allow me to sync movies, books and music to the phone. I don't use app store at all (except for games).

I noticed a lot of women prefer the latest galaxy. Most women I see in CBD, have either S3 or S4.

That's because they have a handbag/clutch to put their phones in. How the fuck are we meant to comfortably put 5 inch phones in our pockets?

Re: Mobile phone thread

Objectively the s4 is the best phone out there and will remain so until 2014 IMO

I think with the galaxy s3 we saw a huge power shift from ios to android, and apple itself has shot itself in the foot without Steve

First the apple maps bs
Then Siri is touted as some sort of assistant and it turns out to be the least used feature ever
Then they release the ipad 3 and within 6 months update it for a new ipad with only a dock connector and a chip difference- and honestly the hilarity of watching cook and I've talk about revolutionary new design, and features was fucking hilarious... These idiots will kill apple

Meanwhile Samsung release the best phone 2 years in a row, he'll... Even the s2 CPU probably outruns the iPhone 5 , the 8 core s4 destroys anything apple ever dreamed of making

Once google finally put out a decent so optimised for tablets ill even sell my ipad.

Apple need to do a lot to win back my affections. They've been bending apple idiots over a barell and fucking them out of every penny for 2 years now.

God is Love. To know Love is to know God. So ask yourself if you hold any hate for another in your heart how can you have room for Love, room for God

I use this phone. A bit expensive, but it helps at keeping away angry rednecks
