Re: My all-time favourite television shows

Prison Break - first two seasons
Lost - first 3 seasons.

These are by far my favorite. I love when a show gets me really hooked, I just can't stop watching. And no other show did it like those seasons of Lost and PB.

I also absolutely love How I Med Your Mother. For very different reasons, and these last 2 seasons are pretty weak. Yet I still love it.

Did you watch 24 and Dexter?? They're kinda fast paced and with a lot of twists too, they're similar in a way.

Lost and Prison Break first few seasons are very addictive, but after the seasons you mentioned they decline a bit.

Anyway, Prison Break's first season is a real masterpiece, ine my TOP 3 of any TV show.

I watched Dexter until this last season. Watched a few episodes of the season and got bored. More of the same. I might give it another try soon. But for me there isn't one season of Dexter that was HALF as good as those of Lost and Prison Break that I mentioned... And I loved the first few seasons of Dexter too.

Never watched 24. Should I?

Re: My all-time favourite television shows

have so many but they are mostly golden oldies, not that i was old enough to watch them but alot of them are shown on re-runs on tv here (happens when you have like 80 tv channels)

i love cop, sleuthing stuff like Columbo, Diagnosis Murder, Taggert, doctor Quincy M.E

the old stuff was the best

for comedy i love the old 2 and a half mens when it was Charlie Sheen (and not this new annoying dickhead Kootchar or whatever his name is) - i still watch the episodes when they are on even if i've seen them 40 times before.

only fools and horses was fantastic in the 80's, not so good at all in the 90's

Re: My all-time favourite television shows

The US Office is a despicable "comedy" show

made for 6 year olds

even when i see 30 second commercials for it i have to flip the station away

Season 4 of Dexter is as good as the best seasons of Lost and PB imo.

Definitely. It's similar to Prison Break, thrilling and with a lot of twists (the first season is a bit slower though).

Except for QI, Mythbusters and this Aleixo thing I've never heard about, your list is perfect.

Hermes e Renato is probably the best show in Brazilian TV since the 80s.
