Wow, given the level of discussion on this forum, I was expecting a Cameron, Spielberg, Burton and Bay lovefest. I'm happy to see that many posters actually have great taste, imo.

My favourites, in no particular order: Kubrick, Kurosawa and Chan-wook Park. Park surely isn't as great as the others, but I think, given time, he will be right up there.

Honorable mentions: Coen Bros., Coppola, Joon-ho Bong, Scorcese, Leone, Bergman and Hitchcock.
