You Are a Conservative Democrat

Frankly, the way most other Democrats behave embarasses you greatly.

You pride yourself on a high level of morals, and you have a good grasp on right and wrong.

It's likely you think America needs to get back to its conservative, Juedo-Christian values.

Why aren't you a Republican then? Because you believe the goverment helps more than hurts.

Re: What Political Persuasion Are You?

You Are a Liberal Republican

A couple of those questions are pretty misleading though.

Re: What Political Persuasion Are You?

Not sure if I was really allowed to enter this and must admit, that as a non-American, some of the questions confused me - what are School Vouchers for example? But I gave it a go anyway and came out as a Libertarian! Strangely enough, the description below is a pretty accurate description of my political views

You distrust the government, are fiercely independent, and don't belong in either party.

Religion and politics should never mix, in your opinion... and you feel opressed by both.

You don't want the government to cramp your self made style. Or anyone else's for that matter.

You're proud to say that you're pro-choice on absolutely everything!

You Are A Liberal Republican

When you tell people that you're Republican, they rarely believe you.

That's because you're socially liberal - likely pro-choice and pro-gay rights.

You're also not so afraid of big goverment, as long as it benefits people and not politicians.

You are the most likely of any Republican type to swing over to the Democrat side sometimes.

You Are a New School Democrat

You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent.
You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats.
Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book.
You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.

Re: What Political Persuasion Are You?

Strange that all the English people who have done this up til now turned out to be "Don't Tread on Me Libertarians" Must prove something but I'm not sure what

Re: What Political Persuasion Are You?

I got the same thing as MisterQ.

Q. At 3‑2 in that game where you had several breakpoints, you went up and shook the net and let out a bit of a growl. What was going on?

ANDY RODDICK: It wasn't working for me. You know, if you were helping him get points, I'd shake you, too (smiling).

Q. You're one of the few top players that still plays doubles. How do you feel that's helping your game?

MARAT SAFIN: Not much (laughter).

I am not English but I am also a "don't tread on me Libertarian".

I must say I never thought of myself as one - the Liberal Republican fits my opinions more I think:

When you tell people that you're Republican, they rarely believe you.

Re: What Political Persuasion Are You?

This is what I got:

You Are a Liberal for Life

You've got a bleeding heart - and you're proud of it.
For you, liberal means being compassionate, pro-government, and anti-business.
You believe in equality for every person, and you consider yourself universally empathetic.
Helping others is not just political for you ... it's very personal too.

I'm probably more of a "New School Democrat" but this isn't too far off...
