Absolutely ridiculous thread. Only guys with some serious self confidence issues would have physical superiority as a requirement in a relationship.
That's more or less my point, put more bluntly
I wouldn't be so harsh, however. It's not just a matter of personal issues, it's a social norm that tells men they should be stronger than their women, "protect" them and so on. So it does take a lot of self-confidence to just be OK with the idea that maybe you're physically weaker than your woman.
It's more or less like women who are constantly shown extreme thinness as an ideal. You may be aware that when you have a perfectly normal and healthy body, you should not let anyone tell you (or imply) that you should go on a diet, but it's still very difficult to stop caring altogether.
(Oh and also, I'm aware 2003 was most probably trolling, but to claim that this is not an issue is not realistic, it is an issue for many people, so I think it's still worth discussing, anyway
