Next one is November 15th (Cyprus)

Palestine also has a National Day on the 15th (must admit I was afraid to mention this to you).

EDIT: Wait, I'm wrong... It's the Turkish side of Cyprus celebrating... lol

So, there's two non-unanimously-recognized states... Hmmm

I say we celebrate each day on THE day, and take a break when there is no day to celebrate. We don't want to make it daily unless it is daily.

Tough call. If we celebrate unrecognized states, we incur the wrath of haters of said states. Hmmm...

You make a good point. So tomorrow is Poland, or we do it for half of today?

We must allow choice. Everyone wanting to celebrate a national day, picks one of the countries of the day when there are multiple choices and also has a choice in changing THE flag midway through the day during the respective day or not.

Re: THE Country Celebration Thread

Since tomorrow is Angola's National Day, and this is a tennis forum, here is a list of Angola's most notable tennis players of all time (there's really not many):

Nelson De Almeida (born 06-04-1979) | Career high: 1156 (13/12/1999) | Record: 15-10
