Re: USA Election Day Thread!

The popular vote is misleading at this point.

But Obama is going to face a divided electorate. I actually hope he wins the popular vote if he takes the electoral college, because I don't want anymore of that unelected bs we had before. If he does lose the popular vote, A LOT of people are going to regret some of the things they said throughout Bush's first term.

Romney winning is pointless at this stage. The Senate is not going to do anything he wants.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!

Romney up 54-44 in Virginia, George Allen, a Republican, up 54-46, over his opponent Tim Kaine, with 44% of the ballot in.

Disappointing if those leads hold. Actually, disgusting. It would cement Virginia as a conservative state.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!

Exit polls have marriage equality up 54-46% in Maryland. And roughly even in the high minority populous areas of Prince George county and Baltimore county. That would be huge.

If Obama loses the popular vote, then he's going to have a hard time getting anything he wants done, too, obviously, and yes, it would be an extremely similar situation to what Bush went through.

Not a lot will change if Romney or Obama wins because Republicans, especially, if Romney loses, will simply position themselves for 2016, where they should have better candidates up for selection.

Lol @ McMahon. Perhaps, to quote John Cena...the voters couldn't see her.

It's a sickening commentary that Elizabeth Warren, Mourdick and Akin the ass even have a chance.
