Apart from the US having the fastest track in the world with the majority of world record (the remainder is set in Calgary) I gues there is no reason you should have heard of them. Small sport in your country.

Is it odd that the best matches I saw yesterday were Lajovic-Rosol and Monaco-Polansky?

It beggars the question which other matches you saw.... I saw a bit ot the last one myself, btw. Wasn't bad imo.

I saw a little of Hewitt-Ebden, but it was so bad. Saw Steps-Istomin, and the best part was Istomin's argument with the umpire if you saw it. Saw a little of Williams-Chardy and saw Harrison-Golubev in its entirety.

Murray - Vesely must have been a sight at close range. I saw a stream for most of the match and I'm not sure I can believe my eyes.

Nah m8, I left yesterday

I did see Monaco/Monfils vs. Murray/Marray if that makes you feel any better?

Re: THE Thread

In 1992 a shipment containing 29,000 plastic yellow ducks, red beavers, blue turtles and green frogs, left China for Washington. There was a storm which caused 12 containers carrying these plastic, floatable toys to go overboard in the Pacific Ocean. Over the course of 15 years these plastic toys turned up on various beaches throughout the world, enabling a couple Scientists to study Ocean currents thanks to these little guys. Word is not all of them have been accounted for yet, so some could still turn up on a beach near you.

Because: a. There were no other good matches at the time
b. I knew Monfils would f*ck around and hit some amazing shots, and I was not disappointed

How many plastic toys were there per container?

Re: THE Thread

29,000/12 containers = around 2400. Though some sites give slightly lower figures at 28,000.

I'm intrigued.

Why were the beavers red and the turtles blue?
