I know, but I prefer to listen to songs that don't require subtitles. This is why I don't get the K-Pop wave that has swept most of Asia.

Well, such things are subjective. I enjoyed listening to British hard rock when I was a kid (and still do), though I didn't understand a word

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Well, it's British, so of course you'd enjoy it. /Anglophile

I used to listen to very very very little Japanese pop, but it wasn't that bad because I understood a bit of it. That didn't last very long though. So does that mean you only started learning English when you were a bit older?

Nothing special with the song and for the vid, I see lots of influence from Stephen Chow

Well, I was hardly an anglophile when I was 9 or 10 years old My older brother and older cousin were listening to that music, so I did too, monkey see-monkey does Nevertheless, British rock was huge in these parts, you won't find many people from my generation or older who don't know what's "Smoke on the Water" As for my English lessons, I started having some lessons when I was around 12 or so, but more seriously not before entering faculty
