Re: Are you happy? Why or why not?

I am generally happy, but I have had a lot of losses in the past four years. I lost my mom, a dog, and three cats. I miss them all every day and sometimes I really feel sad.

Re: Are you happy? Why or why not?

I'm getting increasingly unhappy. I feel done with studies, for two reasons: I don't like studying and I want to earn money. I like what I study but I study only to get a job once I've graduated. I don't really have financial problems but having a job would give more financial security. And I wouldn't be happy by just achieving the Finnish middle-class dream: job, wife, kids, own house, estate Volvo, and going to the Canary Islands once a year. I want something more exciting. Replace living in the same town for the rest of my life by living abroad and moving to another country after few years, replace that estate Volvo with an Audi S5, have wife and kids when I've finally settled down, etc.

Kind of this.

My happiness has really increased in the past 3 years when I realized Christianity didn't make any freaking sense.

Re: Are you happy? Why or why not?

I think I am happier than when I started this thread over 2 years ago. I have:

1. Played a ton of tournaments
2. Traveled a bit
3. Met a lot of people
4. Got my first futures qualies win
5. Got into my first challenger qualies and got my own ATP page
6. Finished college and got my degree
7. Got into grad school
8. Cracked top 150 in Florida
9. Got my own apartment

And yet, still I am not REALLY happy as with each goal I have achieved, I have immediately set a new goal to achieve and the past "goal" no longer satisfies me

50/50 at the moment. I'd be a lot more happy if I wasn't so lonely.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Be careful what you wish for.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Eh, so and so. It'd be nice if we were awaiting *Governor* Mark Schauer instead of another 4 years of the Nerd
