yep, Graf always looked like Ms. Olympia but for Ceplak i was pretty surprised. I mean, if most of the people saying that Kratochvílová was cheater judging her by physical look, didn't understand why nobody didn't ask this question for Mutola

Mutola is a stick compared to Kratochilova. I remember the days of the GDR doping women, they asked a coach about their deep voices and facial hair. He said "we are not here to sing".

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Regarding doping it turns out EVERY medallist was tested in a strict London 2012 operation so those who leave with their medals have left with them fairly.

Because all dopers get caught when tested, as we know.

Maybe if Sydney had done this then Marion Jones wouldn't have frauded her way around the system. Past Olympic Games were far too lenient and tested too few athletes, when everyone who takes part should have to take a piss sample by law.

Re: Olympic Games 2012 London Thread (All other sports besides tennis)

What Spanish athletics needs is to get rid of all the corrupt hypocrites within the national federation. Get fresh people into power positions who actually promote athletics from a young age in schools etc. instead of focusing on covering up dopers.

In the end Spain's performance at these olympic games hasn't been the monumental failure it looked it was going to be in the first week, but it's still bad. 17 medals is too little. That being said, Spain is one of the countries most penalised by the gold tyranny: Athens 2004: 3 gold, 11 silver, 5 bronze. Beijing 2008: 5 gold, 10 silver, 3 bronze. London 2012: 3 gold, 10 silver, 4 bronze.

That's a very naive statement.

Athletes either dope months before the event so they can put up a superhuman training regimen or they use blood doping, which is undetectable in a urine sample.

In order to truly catch cheating athletes, sports need way more out of competition controls and the introduction of a bio passport. Until then, only the truly stupid athletes get caught.

But even then, cheaters always have a few years head start to the testers. We know what lengths athletes and sports federations will go through in order to win. Would anyone dare to guess how widespread gene doping might be in sports?

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

I didn't and I loved it.

After all, it was a BBC montage, not an olympics ceremony.
