What you're saying is the exact reason why i'm starting to dislike Olympics.
You're taking some people's achievements as a way to glorify your own country and despise the others.

Couldn't be any further from the Olympic spirit. Well, anyway, the Olympic spirit doesn't mean much today.

true, and it still is. but top amateur prospects aren't too concerned with the olympics anymore. headgear, computerized scoring (which rewards pitter patter punches), round format, etc. have made it completely irrelevant to professional prize fighting. first step to bring back relevancy would be to eliminate headgear.

Yeah, but look what's happened to pro boxing. I use to be like the biggest fan, but I don't even recognize hardly any of the names anymore. It's the same stuff as what's happened in the Olympics.

Norway defend their women's handball title 26-23, they peaked when it counted that's all. Barjaktarovic what a brilliant game she had in goal. Popovic what a player. Montenegro very brave.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Believe it or not, I can celebrate accomplishments 43 now (44 in 16 minutes of a basketball game) times and still enjoy kicking someone's ass, but then again I'm a pretty good multi-tasker. Hell I can also celebrate the other 58 times we podiumed, as well as feeling bad for those who gave it their all and didn't.

You forgot the Bahamas winning the relay and Felix Sanchez for the Dominican Republic as well. 18 medals from the Caribbean can't say that's too bad.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".
