Let me tell you, where I live in New Zealand, people do that on a weekly basis.
Just because "people do that on a weekly basis" doesn't mean it's fine.

3rd option: don't drink at all.

So like 5 shots a day of vodka three-four times a week is how bad? I'm 5'7, 120 lbs, male. I don't ever get hangovers and I stay pretty coherent, but I do believe I passed out on night of Tsonga match

I am quite sure you will survive

"I did not play my best tennis, no? And..that is what enable him to win..to win this match no? "

Re: Whats worse, 2-3 drinks a day, or 20-25 alcoholic drinks in one night once a week

Can tell you that 20-25/day is worse health wise. Simply because then something bad can happen to you. 2-3 days drinks can barely get a midget drunk so no harm there.

Read a pretty sad story here in Sweden that happened recently. Some dude had gotten himself drunk, fell asleep on a train track, got mugged while lying on the traintrack, ran over by the train, amazingly survived but got his foot amputated and some head wounds.

Regardless, drink too much and you can put yourself into a "helpless mode" or do something else really stupid. Douchebags can take advantage of you (happens to many drunk women) or beat you up, mug you (common for men)

So in the end it's better to be "mildly drunk" than to go crazy with the drinking, end up following someone home that you regret, fall asleep somewhere, get memory loss and god knows what.

2-3 drinks aday and maybe twice that or a little more on the weekends but never go 20-25+. NOT worth it.

Binge drinking is quite clearly documented to be worse for your health.

That said, 3 drinks a day is no fun so fuck that, I'm just gonna keep risking it.

They say people who get hammered once every 2 weeks are happier than those who don't (research by uni in us)
