Is it good for us? Were we "meant" to eat it or do Vegeterians live longer? Is it actually bad for us?
Whats your thoughts and feelings on meat?
I personally eat meat about 3 times a week. Maybe 4 depending on whether I have a takeaway meal and if so what it is. I usually have a takeway once a week and 80% of the time meats involved.
There are numerous thoghts and feelings on meat.
I have heard all kinds of arguments. Those that say we were more designed for fruit and vegetables, and our teeth and make up are not suited to killing and eating prey.
However, others argue this is bullcrap, we have the intelligence to make weapons to hunt and eat and indeed cook food.
Some feel meat is best enjoyed RAW, others feel this is dangerous and cook the stuff to the point of black.
So much to talk about, not to mention the ethics of killing and eating animals..though I prefer we try stay away from that arguement.
Then theres the religious side. Lots to talk about there. Were animals really put here for us to eat, or is that a myth?
Vegetarians have in their favour that you can go a whole life getting everything you need from fruits and vegetables, but if you go a whole life eating just meat, you lose vital vitamins etc from not eating fruits and vegetables.
Of course, it may just be we can eat just about anything we bloody well want, were the dominant species on earth
