What do you think the PopCon is about?
A fun way to tell other members that you appreciate their efforts on this site. Reminds me why I keep coming back to this site.
In your opinion, what's the difference between the ACC and the PopCon?
In the ACC you vote for members that you feel contribute negatively to the site (trolls, offensive posters, ets) while in the PopCon you vote for members that you feel contribute positively to the site.
If you win, as the reigning people's champion, what do you intend to do during your ruling year?
Work on defending the title.
If you don't win, how do you plan to passively guilttrip the winner throughout the year?
Save any mildly controversial post and use it against them
Do you think there should be some joint activity for the four MTF champions, and what do you propose?
Predict this year's winner.
Name someone who you'd like to see win, but don't think has a chance.
philisophicalarf. Very knowledgable and informative member.
A mod genie appears to you, and you have three instant MTF wishes. What do you ask for?
more wishes, New MTF skins, larger avatar pictures, etc, etc
What do you like doing on MTF most?
Looking through old archived threads. I spent hours trying to figure out how Cilic became so unpopular.
How would you compare the four MTF contests(ACC, PopCon, MsMTF, MrMTF) with the four slams?
ACC - Wimbledon, PopCon - Australian Open, MrMTF - French Open, MsMTF - US Open
Do you play TT, and what are your career highlights?
Do you agree with the permaban policy? (= should any member be permabanned, ever)
A permaban policy should exist but it should be a rare punishment for things like deleting a double account (one of the accounts).
How do you generally react to a thread/post that annoys you?
I try to ingore them but I sometimes retaliate with some smartass coment. Ussually it makes things worse
If you could invite five people from public life into MTF, and be certain that they'd join, who would you invite?
Djokovic, Murray, Roddick, Karlovic, and Tsonga. I think their personalities would be fun on this site. I excluded Federer and Nadal because there are already enough Federer and Nadal threads without them being here.
Who are your favourite players, and why?
Dolgopolov. I love the unique and aggressive way that he plays the game. I must admit that his nationality also contributes to me supporting him.
How closely do you follow the ATP tour, and what would you say your tennis knowledge level is?
Not as regularly as when I was gambling on tennis. I try to follow all tournaments but everything is time dependent. I wish I would have time to watch more matches in their entirety instead of learning the score after the fact or just seeing a set. My tennis knowledge is not fantastic but I play a lot of tennis and I feel this does help.
What's your favourite slam, and why?
US Open. I go to college in upstate NY and this is the only slam that I have been to live.
Do you think the concept of the Big 4 is entirely justified and what do you think about their place in history and legacy?
I think of it as the Big 3, but it could become the big 4 in the future.
Which player is, in your opinion, hugely underrated?
Name three things about the tour that you'd like to see fixed.
Surfase homogenization, match fixing, make chair umpires enforse the rules.
Do you have any matchups that you watch purposely for the bad tennis?
Describe yourself in three words.
Confident, Patient, Hardworking
Describe your mornings in three words.
Expletive, expletive, expletive
Name at least three things in your life that you love equally as much as tennis.
Hard to compare. Don't get me wrong I like tennis, but it's not as important to my life as family or friends, but probably more important than other sports at least.
What kind of music do you like, and how much does it mean to you?
Alternative and electronic music. Music is enjoyable from time to time but it's not essential in my life.
What are your five favourite movies?
The Fall (by Tarsem), Mulholland Drive, Memento, Dogville, and It's A Wonderful Life. They are all very different movies but I highly recommend all of them.
Favourite things from your childhood?
Reading, which has become more of a task for me than a hobby, thanks to college life.
