By always saying others are clowns and thinking that you are not.
That's 95% of MTF right there.
Mainly its posters who criticize a group of intense fans for a player usually Nadal fans get criticized, then when the "non-clowns" are asked their opinion on the players they give a middle of the road answer, because only clowns are fans of their players.
If by "intense fans" you mean delusional ones, then yes, I guess I do act like I'm not a clown.
The thing is, what you call a middle of the road answer is probably the answer closest to the truth. I have seen you indicate this before though, especially in the case of Groove: you seem to think that if you don't worship your player beyond all reason then you're not a "true" fan. Basically if I was to get your approval as an intense fan, I'd have to go around saying "SODERLING WILL WIN AT LEAST 3 SLAMS IN 2012!!!
". But if I did that you'd dislike me anyway since there's no way Soderclown could accomplish that, right?
Now, I honestly don't believe something like that will happen - but openly admitting this will apparently make me a fake fan. There's no way for me to win, is there?
