Re: My epic battle

This YOU guy has some massive volley skills. This game proves that serve & volley is the superior strategy in tennis.

Re: My epic battle

Just been playing some old opponents again, Jimmy Connors got OWNED:

Check out that BP conversion rate I was 5-1 up in the final set before I "did an Andy" and lost my concentration at the end

Rafter was a mug. First player I haven't dropped a set against.

I killed Agassi 7-6 6-1 6-1 in my first attempt, he's not so tough

Re: My epic battle

after 2 consecutive losses, i finally beat becker in an epic 5-set battle: 6-1, 6-4, 6-7(6), 3-6, 6-3

i was crusing in the first 2 sets but he got me in the third in one never wrecking tiebreak. from then on he took the momentum to win the fourth set and it all looked like it was going to be an epic comeback from him but i was having none of it. i broke in the second game of the fifth set and i managed to maintain my serve until the end

Re: My epic battle

Kuerten was tough but Courier a no-serve mug.

Re: My epic battle

I'm trying to triple bagel everyone

I have managed to do that all the way until Lendl, closest I got to was 6-0 6-1 6-1
Real pain trying to triple bagel Ivanisevic though

Re: My epic battle

The ONLY one I cannot beat is Borg
I can beat Sampras and everyone else, but not Borg...

EDIT: Oops, forgot Lendl, I understand your pain

+1...I play stick cricket too

With Borg you're better trying to stay back until you manage to get him properly out wide, then just as he hits come into about the service line and put him away...when you're at the net try and stay in the middle or he'll put you away to one side

Re: My epic battle

I just beat Sampras 7-6(6)7-6(5)7-6(7)
I had 5-4 and 0-40 on Sampras' serve in the 1st set and didn't convert any of them
I saved 2 set points in the 1st and 4 in the 3rd set and remained calm and focused in the tiebreaks
I was down 6-2 in the 3rd set TB.

Sampras had 0 BPs

Re: My epic battle

Some of my losses to Borg:
6-1 6-1 6-2
6-2 6-2 6-1
6-0 6-2 7-5
6-4 6-4 6-4
and my biggest achievement:
lost 6-2 5-7 6-1 6-2 I won a set :cheer:
and so on...

I'm gonna play him again and this time I'll hopefully beat him finally!
