Thank you, 50%-ish of this forum, for making me realize, even when I feel like shit, or my life is going bad, that things could be MUCH worse. You raise my self-esteem daily by being trolling clowns

You rise your self-esteem on your own without us, Im sure you have the highest WRITTEN LINES/REPLIES ratio in the whole forum.

Re: Thank you

I am the best mod.

In fact when I was appointed, the admins knew how insanely popular I'd be as a mod and asked if I'd do it in secret lest the forum revolt when they realised my co-mods just weren't up to my standard.

Because humility was always intended to be a hallmark of my fantastic modship, I agreed.

I don't do it for the attention but I feel it would be remiss of me not to mention it at least once.

Re: Thank you

We are all great moderators of one another.
We compliment, we disagree, we argue, we share.
I do not know you, yet you are my sister, my brother.
I tell you all this, to show you I too care.

Now excuse me while I go skin a squirrel to regain my masculinity.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Re: Thank you

To me he seems like a god
the man who sits facing you
and hears you near as you speak
softly and laugh

in a sweet echo that jolts
the heart in my ribs. For now
as I look at you my voice
is empty and

can say nothing as my tongue
cracks and slender fire is quick
under my skin. My eyes are dead
to light, my ears

pound, and sweat pours over me.
I convulse, greener than grass,
and feel my mind slip as I
go close to death

Sappho, translated by Willis Barnstone
