It's impossible to help you when we have that little information. It could be your network adapter that dislikes the service pack update for some reason, I dunno.
Listen, just call your computer manufacturer's customer service.
This was my first bright idea, but you wouldn't believe what they told me! Apparently, I am no longer entitled to customer support because the computer is older than 2 years.
I will never buy a Dell ever again. Never!

Have you tried reinstalling the service pack?
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

Just hit your computer a couple times, give your modem a couple shakes, hit the on/off button a 100 times, pull out random cables and put them in exactly the same place they were... my way of 'fixing it', and it usually works.
