Myths, Opinions: Are Frenchwomen the best dressed and the best cared for women ?

It's believed Frenchwomen wear the best clothes and can preserve their beauty for a long time, despite they are not regarded as beautiful against the background of the other european nations.
Is it a typical myth or frenchwomen really deserve to be called this way ?
