Shocker. Unhappy that they killed off the best storyline, though.

Re: HBO game of thrones - anyone watching?

Excellent episode. They really pulled it off apart from the too happy tones before the massacre happened. You really got a sense of dread in the book but I was spoiled, so I never got to enjoy the surprise :/.

Re: HBO game of thrones - anyone watching?

It was a very surprising move as this was the best storyline and they killed it off just when it was getting cool. But then again, this is GoT people, "if you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention".

Actually people who have read the books told me that in the show they built up Robb more than he is developed in the books. I guess that's why what happens in the last episode is that much more shocking on TV than it must have been in the books.

Re: HBO game of thrones - anyone watching?

I only read the first book of this The Song of Ice and Fire series. But after that I decided to stop reading so that I could enjoy the TV series much more. So I didn't see it coming and almost had a heart attack when suddenly that massacre began. Some of my friends who already have read those books knew that it was coming but still they felt almost the same as me. In fact, it's been two and a half days and we are still grieving.

Geroge R.R. Martin should ask the Lannisters to save him. Almost every GoT viewer wants to kill him!

Re: HBO game of thrones - anyone watching?

I was so disgusted. Hope Arya adds 2 names to her list, Walder Frey and Sir Bolton.

Was rooting for the Starks, now that they are gone I'm on the Dragon side, let's go Daenerys. Stannis doesn't count, don't like he's personality, too much of a weirdo. Plus, I don't like the Red sorceress.

Does George Martin have anything against the Starks? First Ned dies, then Winterfel is destroyed, then Rob and Catelyn die. All this while the main Lannisters are all alive, Casterly Rock is standing just fine. It seems it is the Starks that are taking all the beatings. Meanwhile the King Slayer safely makes it back to King's Landing. At least kill a fucking Lannister.

Maybe Bran can control Daenerys or/and her dragons.
