Re: vn01's Favourite Players in 2011

5 of 15 of my favs playing this week have already played their matches. Tsonga and Davy with comfortable wins, while Cilic suffered a bad loss. Tomic lost, too, but he is still young and needs some time. De Bakker could have played better, so I'm disappointed with the way he lost.

He has changed his name. He is now Richard, but I liked Ricardas more.

Re: vn01's Favourite Players in 2011

Rafa, Gulbis, Berdych, Berankis, Wawrinka and Baghdatis won today.

Nadal didn't play even on 40% but made a baggel. His forehand was amazing.
Gulbis was about to choke in the second set, after he was serving for the match, but in tiebreak, he won after being 5-0 down.
Berdych won 6-0 6-1. I haven't watched the match, but it's a great win.
Berankis beated Clement. Great win for the young talent.
Stan with not very easy win against Bopanna, but there is enough time to Aussie to find form.
Baggy with a tough win over Serra. I haven't watched his match, so I can't comment.

Sadly, Verdasco and Harrison lost today. I thought it can become a miracle and Ryan wins against Soderling, but Robin was too strong for him.
WTF, has FeVer made?! I couldn't watch this match, but I'm very disappointed

Re: vn01's Favourite Players in 2011

In Sao Paulo is raining for 3-4 days, so even the qualifications can't be finished. Hope Del Bonis play soon and win his match, of course.
I forgot about Troicki's win. Stakhovsky is a good player, so this win is very important.

So, after Round 1, 9 of my players still are in the game(maybe 10, if Delbo wins) and what is great, they all have a big chance to qualify for the quarterfinals
Maybe Berankis would have some problems against Mayer, but I hope, he'll win.

he really should withdraw and go get some rest for 2-3 days.

that said, if he is feeling a lot better tomorrow, it could be a good match.

he does not need this tournament.
